2023 Hudson Valley Garlic Festival
Saturday September 30th & Sunday October 1st
Once again The Homegrown String Band™ will be performing at The Hudson Valley Garlic Festival! This is one of the biggest and best food festivals in the country. Each year approximately 50,000 garlic lovers make the pilgrimage to Cantine Field in Saugerties, New York to enjoy two days of music, crafts, cooking demos, lectures, and delicious food, like garlic ice cream.
The Homegrown String Band™ will be sharing the Pavillion stage with Bells and Motley, an interesting duo that performs traditional music on a unique array of instruments including folk harp, hammered dulcimer, bagpipes, and the hurdy-gurdy! Bands performing on the other four stages include Sundad, Mark Rust, Annie and the Hedonist, James Rissacher, and The Arm of the Sea Theater, while One World Puppetry performing artist Andy the Garlic Man will be roaming the grounds.
The Homegrown String Band™ will be performing between 1 and 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 23rd as part of The Presbyterian Church of the Moriches 275th anniversary celebration. The event runs from 11 am to 3 pm, is free, and is open to the public.
